My tattoos and piercings:

frog_june2506.jpg

My poison arrow frog and first tattoo. I got him in the fall of 1997.
Someday I may add more color to him, but there are no immediate plans. I love him as is.

My ex-bf drew my frog based on this t-shirt.
The lady who did the tattoo, changed the
position of one of the legs to make the frog
look more like he was climbing up my leg
instead of just sitting there.

My sun and moon as they originally appeared. (2003)

Here they are re-worked and more ink added.
This is right after they were done, so don't mind the lotion on them. (Aug. 10, 2005)

One year later... This is how they look.
I do wish the blue around the sun was more prominent, like you can see in the picture above on the day I got them re-worked.
I guess I'll need to go back and get it added...

I have pictures of my piercings somewhere..I just need to find them.
But in the meantime, you can see the one I have found.

I have my tongue pierced twice, left ear 6 times, right ear 3 times and my left nostril.

My nostril piercing I got when I was 17.. The place I went to had me sign a paper saying I was over 18, but they never checked my ID. *wicked evil grin*

My 1st tongue piercing (the one in front with the red ball) I got 2 months after turning 18 on a trip to Seattle. I had wanted and waited for this piercing for more than 8 months!
The 2nd tongue piercing I got just over a year ago (on Feb. 4th, 2005).

I may someday take the 2nd piercing out, but I don't think I could ever take the 1st one out. My tongue would feel too naked!

Show me a man with a tattoo, and I'll show you a man with an interesting past.

Tattoos are like stories; they're symbolic of the important moments in your life. Sitting down, talking about where you got each tattoo and what it symbolizes, is really beautiful.
-Pamela Anderson

My body is a journal in a way. It's like what sailors used to do, where every tattoo meant something, a specific time in your life when you make a mark on yourself, whether you do it yourself with a knife or with a professional tattoo artist.
